AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSHOUTH, VIR- <br />GiNiA, 1973, BY ADDING T~ERE~'O A NEW SECTION NU~,iBEP, BD 32-35 <br />PERTAINING TO PROCLSSING STREET CLOSURE APPLICATIONS AND T~iE <br />FEE CNJ~RGED THEREFOR. <br /> <br /> Be it ordained by tile Council of the City of Ports- <br />mouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, 1973, be amended by adding thereto a new section <br />n~.bered 32-35, such new section to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 32-35. Street closure applications~ fee for <br /> processing same. <br /> <br /> All street closure proceedings shall be commenced <br />by filing an application for closure witk the director of <br />the office of planning. .Ail applications shall be submitted <br />on forms prescribed by the director. There shall be a fee of <br />fifty dollars payable to the city for processing such applica- <br />tion. The planning director shall not receive any application <br />unless such fee be paid at the time the application is filed. <br /> <br /> 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after <br />the date of its passage and shall apply to all street closure <br />applications filed after that date. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held August 27, 1974. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
