AN ORDINANCE TO A~4END THE CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN OF THE <br />CITY (1975-1976) BY ADDING TPIERETO A NEW SECTION 16.1 PERTAIN- <br />ING TO UNIFOP~ 'ALLOWANCES o <br /> <br /> BE iT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Ports- <br />mouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> i. That the Classification and Pay Plan of the <br /> City of Portsmouth, 1975-76, be amended by adding a new <br /> Section numbered 16.1~ such new Section to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 16.1. Uniform Allowances. <br /> <br /> Any employee who is required by his department head <br />to wear a uniform in the regular performance of his official <br />duties shall be furnished three (3) changes of such uniform <br />each week. Any employee who desires any additional changes <br />shall assume theadditional' ' cost thereof and the City shall <br />withhold from the employee's salary an amount sufficient to <br />offset the cost thereof. This Section shall not be applicable <br />to employees of the police division or fire division of the <br />City. <br /> <br /> 2.
