ORDINANCES - 1976 1. Ordinance to amend Sections 6-1 and 6-2 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, 1973, pertaining to the adoption of the Virginia Uniform Statewide Build- ing Code. 2. Ordinance to amend the Codee of City of Portsmouth, 1973, by amending Section 5-3 pertaining to registration of bicycles. 3. Ordinance to appropriate $477,000 frmm Capital Improvement Fund for the City's participation in the costs of constructing additional lanes on the Churchland Bridge. 4. Ordinance to appropriate $40,000. from Capital Improvement Fund for con- sultant engineering fees in reference to the SuffoIk Water Contract. 7. Ordinance to appropriate $3,486. frcm Capital Improvement Fund for drainage of Scott's Creek. 8. Ordinance to appropriate $965,000. from General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund in categories for operating expenditures for public safety and capital ex- penditures for General Multi-purpose Equipment. 9. Ordinance to apprepriate $132,847. from Federal Grants for continuation of the Methadone Treatment and Rebabilitation Program. 10. Ordinance to appropriate $110,000. from Federal Grants Fund for a six month continuation of the Portsmouth High Intensity Target Program. 11. Ordinance to appropriate $39,598. from Federal Grants Fund for continued operation of Portsmouth Senior Citizens Coordinator Program; purrchase of equipment for Commonvealth Attorney's office and operation of Portsmouth's Narcotic and Dangerous Drug Program. 12. Ordinance to amend Code by adding Sections 23-196 and 23-197 Pertaining to making a portion of Railroad Avenue and a portion of Carolina Avenue one way. 13. Ordinance to amend Classification and Pay Plan pertaining to salaries of Clerk of Circuit Court and the City Clerk; and incorporating Assistant City Manager into classified section of such Pav Plan. 14. Ordinance to amend Code pertaining,to crimes and offenses involving use and possession of weapons. 15. Ordinance to amend Code pertaining to membership of the Board of Examination of Plumbers.
