AMeNDInG S~t'ICN 2-42 EF~REO~, PERTAINING TO DAT~ ~ND TIME OF <br /> <br />BE IT 0~ by the Council of the City of Portsmo%rbb, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 2-42 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />1973, be amended and reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 2-42. Date, ~ of regular meetings. <br /> <br /> (a) There shall be regular meetings of the Ci%y Council, unless <br />otherwise provided by special resolution, beginning at 7:30 P. M. on the <br />second and fourth Tuesday in each month except in %he mon%h of December <br />when the red,tar meeting shall be on %he sec~_nd Tuesday. <br /> <br /> (b) There shall be regular maetings of the City Council, unless <br />otherwise provided by special resolution, beginning at 7:30 P. M. on <br />Monday, preceding %he second Tursday in the months of February, April, <br />June, August, October and December. Any public hearing which %he Council <br />is required to hold under E/aapter 11 of Title 15.1 of the Code of Virginia <br />shall be held at %he meeting specified in this subsection, but nothing <br />herein shall be cons~ed as prohibiting %he continuation of any such <br />public hearing to any other time or place. <br /> <br />2.
