PINNERS AVENUE; PARCEL II, A ~ORTtON OF CAROLINA A~, pAPCk~. III, A PORTION OF FIRST'STREET; PARCEl, IV, A POtEUION OF ~T NORFOLK ROAD. ~EAS, the City of Portsmouth has made application to vacate and close and discontinue Parcels I, II, III and IV, t_he hereinafter described portions of ~ streets; and WM~EAS, by Resolution of this Council adopted Ju~y 26, 1977, viewers were appOinted pursuant to Section 15~1-364, Code .of Virg~a, 1950, as amended, to view the hereinafter described portions of said streets, and to report in writing whether in their opinzon any, and if any, what inconvenience would result from discont/nuing the below described streets; and WHEREAS, the said viewers have reported in writing that in their opinion no inconvenience ~uld result fr~u the closLng and discontin~ng of said streets. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORD~I~ED by the Council of t~he City of Ports- mouth, Virginia, that those portions of said streets hereinafter de- scribed, be closed and vacated as public streets: PARCel, I - PINNERS AV~ Pinners Avenue - Beginning at the existJ~ng north east corner of Spencer Street and Pinm~rs Avenue; thence along the northern right of way of Piomers A~nue N84 o 46'00" E a distance of 200' to the eastern terminus of Pinners Avenue; thence SO5°15'00" E a distance Of 60' to the southern right of way of Pirmers Avenue; thence along the southern right of way of Pirmers Avenue S84° 46'00" a distance of 200' to the exis~ing southeast cor- ner of Pinners Avenue and Spencer Street; thence A~D5° 15'00" W a dis-~ance of 60' to the Point of Beginning. PARCEL II - CAROL/NA AVENUE Carolina Avenue - Beginning at the exis~n%g north- east corner of Spencer Street and Cerolina Avenue; thence along the nor~dnern right of way of CarolLna Avenue N84° 46'00" E a distance of 200' to tl~ eastern terminus of Carolina Avenue; thenee S05°14'00'' E a dis-~%nce of 60' o Carolina Avenue, thenoe to the southern right of way f ' - along the southern right of way of Carolim~ Avenue S84° 46'00" W a distance of 200' to the exis~ southeast corner of CarolJ_na Avenue and Spencer Street.
