A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING ~{E FOLL~LNG STREET: PORTION OF MIDDLE STREET BES~h~m~ THE NOR~ RIGHT OF ~Y I,INE OF COUNTY STREET AND THE NO~ KIG~T OF WAY OF Kt~ STREET. A WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has made application to vacate and close the hereinafter described portion of a ceztain street, and it appearing that notice of application and request for the appointment of viewers was duly posted ~y 9, 1977 on the bulletin boards of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, the bulletin board of the City Hall Buil ~ding of the City of Portsmouth and. the bulletin board of the Ger~ral District Court, Civil Division, of t_he City of Portsmouth. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Ports- mouth, Virginia that, Frank N. Bilisoly, A. N. Kendrick, Linon Vannr C. E. Ellis and H. L. Davis be appointed viewers and _Raymond Tweed be appointed an alternate viewer in the event one of the preceding viewers fails to participate. Said viewers to view the hereinafter described portion of such street ~nd to report to t/lis Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result in vacating and closing the following: MIDDLE Begirming at the nor~h right of way line of County Street where it intersects with the east right of way line of Middle Street; thance north along the east right of way line of ~ddie Street to its intersection ~ith tl~e north right of way line of King Street; thence west 60 feet to the west right of way line of PZ[ddle Street; thence south' along s~id right of way of Middle Street to its intersection with the north right of way 1Lne of County Street; thence east 60 feet to the Point Of Origin.
