BEI~,:,:~ 1~ NORT~N I%IGHT OF ~ r.T~E OF COUNTY STREET AND THE NORTHERN RIGHT OF k~Y LINE OF KING STRUT. ~ai~%EAS, the City of Portsmouth has made application to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter described portion of a cer~Mn street; and WHEREAS, by Resolution of this Council adopted May 31, 1977, viewers were appointed pursuant to Section 15.1-364, Code of Virginia, 1950, as ~mended, to view the hereinafter described portion of said street and to report in writing whether in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result from d'igcontinulng the below described st~=et~ and WHEREAS, the said viewers have reported in writing that in their opinion no inconvenience would result frc~ the closin9 and discon~inulng of said street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT O~DAINSD by the Council .of the City of Ports- mouth, Virg/nia, that that portion of said street b~inafter des~hed, be closed and vacated as a public street: MIDDLE STP~.±. Beginning at the north right of way line of County Street where it intersects with the east right of way line of Middle Street; thence north along the east right of way line of Middle Street to its inter- section with the north right of way line of King Street; thence west 60 feet to the west right of way line of Middle Street; thence south along said right of way of Middle Street to its intersection with the north right of way line of County Street; thence east 60 feet to the point of origin. BE IT FURI~FR O~4DAIN~D that the same is hereby closed and vacated as a public street, that the City of Portsmouth reserves unto itse]f perpetual eas~aents, rights~ and privileges to install, maintain, operate and replace sewer drains, sewer mains, sanitary sewers, water and laterals and electric power lines within, ever, %under and across those porticos of Middle Street heretofore described.
