II - A PORTION OF BP~IGRTON STRa~I'. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth, Virginia has made application <br />to vacate and close and discontinue the hereinafter described portions <br />of certain stre~ts~ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by a Resolution of this Council adopted February 7~ 1978, <br />viewers were appointed pursuant to Section 15.1-1-364, Code of Virginia, <br />1950, as amended, to view the hereinafter described portions of said <br />streets and to report in writing whether in their opinion an~, and if <br />any, what inconvenience would result frcxa discontinuing the ~elow <br />described' streets; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said viewers have reported in writing that in their <br />opinion no inconvenience would result frc~ the closing and 8~-qcontinuing <br />of said streets. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Cit~y of Ports- <br />mouth, VirgJ~nia, that those porticos of said streets here~ described <br />be closed and vacated as public streets. <br /> <br />pAS~r. I -'INDUSTRIAL AVENUE <br /> <br /> Ail that portion of Industrial Avenue north o~ <br />Wesley Street as shown on Tax Plato 100 and being f~r- <br />ther described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the northeast intersect_ion of Ir~3ust- <br />rial Avenue and Wesley Street; thence running north <br />approximatoly 235!; thence west 60'; thence sotlth 235'; <br />thence east 60' to the Point of Beginning.
