1978-121 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH~ VIRGINIA, BY ~V~ENDING SECTION 17-17 THEREOF PERTAINING TO THE TERM OF "DWELLING~ ~TEMPORARY HOUSING'~ and "MOBILE HOMES~' IN SECTION 201 OF THE SOUTHERN STANDARD HOUSING CODE, 1969 EDITION ~ BE IT ORDAINED that Section City of Portsmouth be reordained Section 17-17~ Same Definitions~ ?~i! of the Code of to read as follows.: (a) Where the words "applicable governing body" are ~sed in the Southern Standard Housing Code, 1969, Edition, hereby adopted~ they shall be held to mean the City of Portsmouth~ Virginia. (d) That the term "Temporary Housing" in Section 201 of the Southern Standard Housing Code, 1969, Edition, shall be amended to read as follows: TEMPORARY HOUSING shall mean any tent, cs/~per trailer, or other structure used for human shelter which is designed to be transportable and which is not attached to the ground, to another structure, or to any utilities system on the same premises for more than thirty (30) consecutive days. (e) That the term "mobile home" shall be added to Section 201 of the Southern Standard Housing Code, 1969, Edition, to read as follows:
