AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, 1973, BY AMENDING SECTION 14-29 THEREOF, PERTAININC <br />TO CONSTRUCTION SITES. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, that Section I4~29 of the Code 'of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia~ 1973, be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 14-29. Construction sites. <br /> <br /> Construction sites sha~l be maintained in such a manner <br />as to prevent trash and/or construction related debris from <br />accumulating thereon trnrestrained or being allowed to blow <br />or be transported onto other property. A suitable trash <br />receptacle shall be maintained on the site at all times <br />during construction. <br /> <br /> Dirt, sand, gravel and similar construction materials shall <br />be stored on construction sites In such a manner so as not to be <br />deposited or tracked on public streets or rights-of-way. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council o~ the'City of Portsmo~th~ Vir- <br />ginia, at a meeting held May 22, 1979. <br /> <br />· 'Teste: <br /> <br />. ~.· . ~City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
