AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />VIRGINIA, BY AMENDING <br /> <br />THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />ZONING ORDINANCE Z-79-2. <br /> <br />PORTSMOUTH, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virg!nia: <br /> <br /> 1. That that portion of Zoning Map attached to and <br />made a part of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Portsmouth, <br />1973, which now zones as Office-Residential OP~-75, the <br />property described in the petition for Zoning~Amendmen~ No. <br />Z-79-2, is hereby amended and changed so as to show said <br />property zoned as Commercial C-l-Conditional, and that said <br />property is hereby zoned as Commercial C-l-Conditional~ <br /> <br /> 2. The property affected by this ordinance is described <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning on the north side of Ports- <br />mouth Boulevard approximately 137' east <br />from its intersection with Bradley Avenue; <br />thence north along a side property line <br />213'; thence east 75'~ thence south 213' <br />to the north right of way of Portsmouth <br />Boulevard; thence west along said right <br />of way 75' to the point of origin~ also <br />known as 4510 Portsmouth Boulevard. <br /> <br /> 3. Zoning Ordinance Amendment Z-79-2 is conditioned <br />upon the following: <br /> <br />USE Single family dwelling and a beauty parlor. <br /> <br /> M~XIMU~ SIZE OF AUTHORIZED BEAUTY PARLOR - Confines of an <br />existing out building or 576 square feet of a usable net floor <br />area. <br /> <br /> IDENTIFICATION OF THE BEAUTY PARLOR - One indirectly lighted <br />sign not to exceed 9 feet of surface area. <br /> <br /> 4. That this Ordinance shall be in effect from and <br />after 30 days from the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meetino held May 8, 1979. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
