AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 6-8 (118.31 (a) (2) (A) AND <br />SECTION 6-8 (118.31 (a) (7) (1)) OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1973, PERTAINING TO FEES FOR CON- <br />STRUCTION PERMITS. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 6-8 (118.31 (a) (2) (A)) and Section 6-8 <br />(118.31 (a) (7) (1)) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, 1973, be amended and reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 6-8 (118.31 (a) (2) (A)). Use Group B-Business, M- <br /> Mercantile, R-Residential. <br /> <br /> (a) For one hundred (100) square feet up to and including <br />two thousand (2000) square feet, the fee shall be five dollars <br />($5.00) per hundred (1OO) square feet. or fraction thereof. The <br />minimum fee shall be ten dollars ($t0.O0). <br /> <br />Section 6-8 <br /> <br />(118.31 <br /> <br />(a) (7) (1)) . <br /> <br />Group T-Temporary and Miscellaneous <br />and Alterations, Installations <br />Repairs. <br /> <br /> (1) When the valuation does not exceed one hundred dollars <br />($1OO.OO), no fee shall be required unless an inspection is <br />necessary. The minimum fee shall be ten dollars ($10.00). <br /> <br />2.
