(c) Condition 3: When critically limited supplies <br />of water are available, the City Manager shall institute <br />mandatory reductions on each customer as follows: <br /> <br /> (1) Industrial, institutional, commercial, governmental, <br />wholesale and all other non-residential customers shall be <br />alloted a percentage reduction based on that customer's <br />average monthly and/or quarterly previous calendar year's <br />consumption. <br /> <br /> (2) Individual <br />to a specific volume <br />quarter. <br /> <br />residential customers shall be limited <br />or percentage reduction of water per <br /> <br /> If the alloted monthly and/or quarterly water usage is <br />exceeded, the customer shall be charged ten dollars ($10.00) <br />for every one h%indred (100) cubic feet of water consumed <br />above the alloted volume. ~ere prior consumption data is <br />not available, the City Manager shall estimate allocations <br />based uoon the data available from similar activities of <br />equal intensity. <br /> <br /> (d) Condition 4: When crucial supplies of water are <br />available, the City Manager shall restrict the use of water <br />to purposes which are absolutely essential to !ife,.health <br />and safetyl <br /> <br /> The determination of Conditions 2, 3 and 4 by the City <br />Manager shall be accomoanied by a written report which shall <br />set out the criteria utilized and data relied upon in making <br />such determination including a narrative summary supporting <br />the determination. Each report shall be promptly filed with <br />the City Clerk who shall make the same available for public <br />inspection. The City Clerk shall forthwith transmit a copy <br />of each report to the City Council. <br /> <br /> 5. That any person who shall violate any provision of <br />this ordinance, or any of the conservation regulations pro- <br />mulgated by the City Manager pursuant thereto, shall, upon <br />conviction thereof, in addition to additional charges and/or <br />other actions set forth herein, be fined not more than five <br />hundred dollars ($500.). Each act, or each day's continuation <br />of a violation shall be considered a separate offense. <br /> <br /> In addition to the foregoing, the City Manager may suspend <br />water service to any person violating the provisions of this <br />ordinance or the regulations promulgated hereunder. If such <br />water service is terminated, the person shall pay a reconnection <br />fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) before service will be restored. <br /> <br /> <br />
