Marina: A harbor or boat basin providing berthing for <br /> local-and transit yachtsmen; sale of pleasure craft, <br /> marine accessories and refueling services; repair <br /> facilities only for pleasure craft including marine <br /> mechanical repairs, electrical systems, air conditioning <br /> and generator services; hauling of vessels only by <br /> boat lift; annual bottom and hull painting; propellar <br /> and shaft repairs; but not including construction, <br /> repair or overhaul of commercial or industrial vessels, <br /> barges or commercial fishing vessels. <br /> <br />Nonconforming uses and structures as provided in <br /> Sections 4©-32 through 40-38. <br /> <br />Office buildings: Governmental and private office build- <br /> ings, including professional offices. <br /> <br />PubIic utility distribution lines, transformers and <br /> necessary related facilities. <br /> <br />Radio and television stations and masts. <br /> <br />Restaurants, except those providing drive-in curb service. <br /> <br />Retail stores, food stores, groceries and delicatessens, <br /> bookshops, clothing stores, florist, jewelry and <br /> gift sho~s and other retail outlets similar to <br /> t_hose n~ed. <br /> <br />Signsw ili~minated or otherwise, pursuant to the terms <br /> of Section 40-139. <br /> <br />Theatres, housed in a permanent indoor structure. <br /> <br /> (b) Within the Waterfront W-1 District the following uses <br />may be permitted upon the granting of a use permit as provided <br />in this Article: <br /> <br />Commercially or publicly operated transportation terminal <br /> facilities such as heliports, tour boats, bus terminals, <br /> taxi stands, ferry boats transporting pedestrians. <br /> <br />Service stations for motor vehicles, except those performing <br /> major repairs, when incorporated in an enclosed com- <br /> mercial or public parking garage. <br /> <br />40-139. <br /> <br />For dimensional requirements, see Article VI, Section <br /> <br /> <br />
