GRi}I CE HO.1981-1 <br /> <br />ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-80-23. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia; <br /> 1. That a portion ~f the zo~ing~Ma~'~at~ache~a~d ~ ' <br />made a part of the Zoning ~rdinance of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, 1973, which now zones as Residential R-150, the <br />property described in petition for Zoning Amendment Z-80-23, <br />is hereby amended and changed so as to show said property <br />zoned as Residential R-75-S-Conditional. <br /> <br /> 2. The property affected by this ordinance is described <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning on the north side of Parish <br />Lane approximately 150' east of its inter- <br />section with Rivershore Road; thence northerly <br />254.26' to the property of the U. S. Government; <br />thence easterly along said property 446.36'; <br />thence southerly 206.19' to the south right- <br />of-way of Parish Lane'; thence easterly 75', <br />more or less; thence southerly 165', more or <br />less; thence in a westerly direction 345.18' <br />to a point; thence northerly 195', more or <br />less, to the north right-of-way line of Parish <br />Lane; thence easterly along said line 10', <br />more or less, to the Point of Beginning. <br /> <br /> 3. Zoning Ordinance Amendment Z-80-23 is conditioned <br />upon the following: <br /> <br /> That development of Lots 192 through 195, both inclusive, <br />and Lots 210 through 213, both inclusive, plat of "Southampton, <br />Section II", recorded in Map Book 10, page 67 in the Clerk's <br />Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />shall be in accordance with conditions hereinafter set forth <br />unless an amendment is mutually agreed upon by the City Council <br />and the record owners: <br /> <br /> (a) The zoning of the subject property as described <br />above shall be changed from Residential R-150 to Residential <br />R-75-S-Conditional. <br /> <br /> (b) The use of the aforementioned lot shall be'limited <br />to single-family dwellings, including appropriate excessory uses <br />as permitted in Section 40-77 of the Zoning Ordinance, as amended, <br />pertaining to residential uses including, but not limited.to, the <br />construction of attached single family dwellings where each single <br />family dwelling lot contains the minimum area prescribed for R-75-S <br />Zoning District as permitted in Sectio~ 40-137(k) (5). <br /> <br /> <br />
