ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-81-7 BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: 1. That a portion of the Zoning Map attached to and made a part of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Portsmouth, 1973, which now zones as Residential R-75, the property de- scribed in Petition for Zoning Amendment Z-81-7, is hereby amended and changed so as to show said property zoned as Commercial C-2-K Conditional. 2. The property affected by this Ordinance is described as follows: Z-81-7 Beginning on the north side of Victory Boul- evard 420', more or less, east from its intersect- ion With Kent Drive; thence north-lOO'; thence east 55.94'; thence northeast 353.87'; thence southeast 117.58'; thence southerly 361.4'; thence southeast 19' to the north right-of-way of Victory Boulevard; thence 139.16' along said right-of-way to the Point of Origin. 3. ZoningAmendment Ordinance Z-8I-7 is conditioned upon the following as proffered by the petitioner: (1) The use of the aforementioned property shall be limited to the repairs and servicing of motor vehicles. (2) A building will be built in accordance with the regulations and ordinances of the City of Portsmouth prior to commencing business activity and all repair and servicing of motor vehicles will be conducted inside said building. (3) Only vehicles awaiting repairs and servicing will be stored on the aforesaid property and no attempt will be made to construct a junkyard and/or auto salvage business. (4) Barrier fence will be constructed on three (3) sides of the property and not be set back less than eight (8') feet from the existing western, northern and eastern property lines. The barrier fence must be approved by the City and constructed in accordance with the specifications of the City Code before the property can be used as permitted herein. The fence as constructed shall preclude visibility of auto repairs from the adjoining residential property.
