AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $52,430. FROM THE GENERAL FI/ND <br />FOR ADDITIONAL POSITIONS WHICH WERE GRANTED BY THE STATE <br />COMPENSATION BOARD FOR 1981-82 IN THE CITY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, that the sum of Fifty-two Thousand, Four Hundred <br />and Thirty and OO/100 ($52,430.) Dollars be, and the same <br />hereby is, appropriated from the General Fund for additional <br />positions which were granted by the State Compensation Board <br />for 1981-82 in tlae City Sheriff's Department. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held October 13, 1981. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
