ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-81-13 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> i. That the portion of the'Zoning Map'attached to <br />and made a part of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of <br />Portsmouth, 1973, which now zones as Commercial C-2, the <br />property described in Petition for Zoning Amendment No. <br />Z-8t-13 is hereby amended and changes so as to show said <br />property zoned as Industrial M-1-K Conditional. <br /> <br /> 2. The property affected by this Ordinance is <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Z-81-13 <br /> <br /> Beginning at the northwest corner of <br />High Street and Peninsula Avenue; thence <br />west along High Street 195 feet; thence <br />north 113 feet; thence east 90 feet; thence <br />north 113 feet to the south right-of-way <br />of Queen Street; thence east along said <br />right-of-way 105 feet to the west right- <br />of-way of Peninsula Avenue; thence south <br />along said right-of-way to High Street. <br /> <br />following: <br /> <br />Zoning Amendment Z-81-13 is conditioned upon the <br /> <br /> (a) The applicant would operate the existing <br />business, Portsmouth Tent & Awning Company, for the manufactur- <br />ing of tents, awnings and other related products only, and <br />should the property cease to be used for said purpose, the <br />zoning will revert back to Commercial C-2. <br /> <br /> (b) Ail regulations and requirements of the M-1 <br />Zoning District will be complied with. <br /> <br /> 4.
