Z©N.ING A~LENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-~2-27 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth~ <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> i. That the portion of the Zoning Map attached to and <br />made a part of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Portsmouth, <br />t97~, which now zones as Residential R-75-S, the property <br />described in petition for Zonzng Amendment Z-82-27 is hereby <br />amended and changed so as to show said property as described <br />herein zoned as Commercial C-1-K Conditional, and that said <br />property as described herein i~ hereby zoned Co~rcial C-1-K <br />Conditional. <br /> <br /> 2. The property affected by this ordinance is described <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the northwest intersection of <br />Hamilton Avenue and Watson Street; thence north <br />along the west right-of-way of Hamilton Avenue <br />50.5 feet; thence west 1OO feet, more or less, <br />thence south 50.5 feet to the north right-of-way <br />~f Watson Street; thence east along said right- <br />of-way i00 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> 3. Zoning Ordinance Amendment Z-82-27 is conditioned upon <br />the following as proffered by the petitioner: <br /> <br /> (a) The property will onl~ be used as a parking lot <br />for patrons of Mario's Restaurant. <br /> <br /> Ih) Screening, as required by Section 40-4~ of the <br />Code of Portsmouth, will be constructed. <br /> <br /> (c} Construction of the lot <br />the Department of Engineering Services <br />approves the site plan. <br /> <br />will not co~%~ence until <br />of the City of Portsmouth <br /> <br /> [d) The applicant agrees to continue to use said <br />property as a parking lot for patrons of Mari. O~s Restaurant <br />until such time as the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing <br />Authority may acquire said property in conj'~nction with the <br />Mt. Harmon Project area. <br /> <br /> (e) Approximately eighteen (18) parking spaces will <br />be utilized on the subject property. <br /> <br /> <br />
