Z©N.ING A~LENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-~2-27 BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth~ Virginia: i. That the portion of the Zoning Map attached to and made a part of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Portsmouth, t97~, which now zones as Residential R-75-S, the property described in petition for Zonzng Amendment Z-82-27 is hereby amended and changed so as to show said property as described herein zoned as Commercial C-1-K Conditional, and that said property as described herein i~ hereby zoned Co~rcial C-1-K Conditional. 2. The property affected by this ordinance is described as follows: Beginning at the northwest intersection of Hamilton Avenue and Watson Street; thence north along the west right-of-way of Hamilton Avenue 50.5 feet; thence west 1OO feet, more or less, thence south 50.5 feet to the north right-of-way ~f Watson Street; thence east along said right- of-way i00 feet to the point of beginning. 3. Zoning Ordinance Amendment Z-82-27 is conditioned upon the following as proffered by the petitioner: (a) The property will onl~ be used as a parking lot for patrons of Mario's Restaurant. Ih) Screening, as required by Section 40-4~ of the Code of Portsmouth, will be constructed. (c} Construction of the lot the Department of Engineering Services approves the site plan. will not co~%~ence until of the City of Portsmouth [d) The applicant agrees to continue to use said property as a parking lot for patrons of Mari. O~s Restaurant until such time as the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority may acquire said property in conj'~nction with the Mt. Harmon Project area. (e) Approximately eighteen (18) parking spaces will be utilized on the subject property.
