Section 1.1. WHEREAS, pursuant ~o Section 16-9 of the Code of
<br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1951, as amended, the city council may
<br />designate by resolution the routes and headways for intra-urban buses
<br />operated within the city; and

<br /> Section 1.2o WHEREAS, Community Motor Bus Company, Incorporated
<br />has submitted proposed routes and headways to be in effect from and after 2:00
<br />acm., September l?, 1961, which are satisfactory to the city council.
<br />
<br /> Section 1.3. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of
<br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that from and after the adoption of this
<br />resolution, the following routes and headways shall be operated by Community
<br />Motor Bus Company, Incorporated:
