Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia in regular meeting assembled, that the N~yor of said City be, <br />and he hereby is, authorized to enter into an agreement with the ATLANTIC <br />COAST LINE RAILROAD C(~PANY, and to s~gn same on behalf ~ef said City, <br />whereby the said Railroad Company gives and grants unto the City of Ports- <br />mouth, Virginia, the right to install and maintain, for the purpose of <br />conducting water, a line of 1-inch galvanized iron pipe across the right <br />o£ way and under the tracks of the Railroad Company in Pleasant Street <br />(not open) at Suffolk, Virginia at a point 2612 feet northeastwardly, <br />measured along the center line of the Railroad Company's main track from <br />Nile Post B-215, as particularly described in said agreement, which agree- <br />ment is dated June 13, 1961, a copy o£ which agreemen~ is filed with this <br />City Council. <br /> <br /> Adopted at a meeting held on July ll, 1961. <br /> <br />City Clerk. <br /> <br /> <br />
