WHEREAS, The application of William A. Howell to vacate~ <br />close and discontinue all that portion o£ Kelly Drive lying east <br />of the eastern boundary of Raven Street~ has been referred to the <br />Planni~ and Zoning Commission for investigation and report, and <br />said Commission has recommended the closing o£ the said street aud <br />it appearin~ that notice of the application and request fo~ the <br />appointment of viewers was duly posted c~ the first day of the term <br />of court of tbs Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />held on the 23rd day of September, 1963, on the bulletin board of <br />the ~ircuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, on the bulletin board <br />of the Court of Hustings for the City of Portsmouth and on a tele- <br />phon~ pole near the above described property~ at least five days <br />prior to this meeting: <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of POrtsmouth, Virginia, that: <br /> <br />be appointed viewers to view said street and report to this Council <br />in writing whether in their opinion, any, and if any, what inconven- <br />ienc~ would result from discontinuing the aforementioned portion of <br />Kell~ D~ive. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />at a meetin~ he~d October $, 1963. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />Virginia, <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
