WPtE1LEAS, the City of Portsmouth, by its City Attorney, has filed <br />an application pursuant to Section 4-2 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City <br />of Portsmouth, 1961, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter des- <br />cribed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant, the Planning Director and the City M~nager <br />have done all things required to be done in connection with said application, <br />a ] the Planning Commission has recommended the g~ntinE of said use permit° <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLXrED, by the Council of the City of Portsmouths <br />Virginia: <br /> <br />That the use for which the use permit hereinafter described <br />is sought (1) will no~ adversely affect the health or safety <br />of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the <br />proposed use, (2) will not be detrimental to the public <br />welfare or injurious to property or improvements in the <br />neighborhood, and (3) will be in accord with the purposes <br />of said Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br /> That the City of Portsmouth is hereby granted a use permit <br /> pursuant to Section 4-2 of said Zoning Ordinance, for the <br /> comstruction and operation of a sewer pumping station to be <br /> located on that certain parcel of land described as follows: <br /> Beginning at a point in the west right-of-way line of <br />Chandler Harper Drive 260 feet, more or less, north of the <br />c-nzertine of Yorkshire Road, said point being situate at <br />t~e cen~erline of an existing culvert; thence south along <br />said right-of-way line 86 feet~ more or less, to a point; <br />thence west 92 feet, more or less. to a point; thence north <br />60 feet, more or less. to the shoreline; thence east along <br />said shoreline 100 feet, more or less, to the point of <br />beginning. <br /> <br /> Adopted Dy the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a <br />meeting held January S, 1963. <br /> <br />CITY CLERK <br /> <br /> <br />
