I,~EPEAS, The application of George T. McLean to vacate, <br />close and discontinue that portion of Gust Lane which extends in <br />a southerly direction 319.41 feet measured along its eatern side <br />from the intersection of said Gust Lane with the southwest side <br />of Victory Boulevard, has been referred to the Planning and Zoning <br />Cmrmission for investi~tio~ ~d report, and said Comuission has <br />recommended the closing of the said street arid it appearing that <br />notice of the application and request for the appointment of viewers <br />was duly posted on the bulletin board of the Cornet of Hustings for <br />the City of Portsmouth, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Cour~ <br />of the City of Portsmouth, and on the bulletin board of the Municipal <br />Building of the City of Portsmouth, at leastten days prior to this <br />meeting: <br /> <br /> NOW, T~HEREFORE, BE IT~ RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that: <br /> <br />be appointed viewers to view said street and report to this Council <br />in ,~iting w[~ther in their opinion, ar~, and if any, what incon- <br />venience would result from discontinuir~ the aforementioned street, <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meetmag held October 2Z, 196~. <br /> <br />Tes~e. <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
