RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIE~IERM FOR <br />CLOSING A PORTION OF NOTTOI~AY AVENUE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the application of Southland Life Insurance Company, <br />William H. Butler and Thelma Butler to vacate, close and discontinue <br />that portion of Nottoway Avenue lying between the northerr, line of <br />Brighton Street and the northern property line extended of Lot 24, <br />Block 109, as shown on the Plat of the Virginia Realty and Investment <br />Company, duly recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of the <br />City of Chesapeake, Virginia, in ~ap Book 7, pages 98, 99 and 100, has <br />been referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission for investigation <br />and repprt, and the said Commission has recommended the closing of the <br />said street and it appearing that notice o~ the application and request <br />for the appointment of viewers was duly posted on the bulie:inboard <br />of the Court of Hustings for the City of POrtsmouth, on ~he bulletin <br />board or, the Municipal Building and on a p01e in the vicinity of the <br />street To be closed, at least ten days prior to this meeting: <br /> <br /> NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Biliso~y, Graydon D. Meginleyo <br />James V. McGehee, Louis J. Leitner and L. A.
