~ WHEREAS, Almighty God has seen fit to call unto Himself <br /> <br />Damon M. Tatem ~o share in the joys of eternal life; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the time of his death Damon M. Tatem was serving <br />as the Vice-Chairman of the Portsmouth Planning Commission and had <br />served as a me~ber of that body since 1960 with a deep sense of dedication <br />to the purpose that Portsmouth should develop in a way that would be <br />most beneficial to all concerned; and <br /> <br /> WHEBEAS, the co~r~unity has suffered a grea~ loss in the untimely <br />passing of Damon M. Tatem and has joined with his family and friends in <br />mourning his death. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that the sympathy of this body, actirg for the <br />citizens of this City, be and hereby is extended ~o the family of the <br />late Damon M.
