USE PERMIT FOR MARINA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Tidewater Chris-Craft Company, Inc., has filed au <br />applicat%on pursuant to Section ~-2 of the Zor~ing Ordinance of the City <br />of Portsmouth, 1961, for the granting of a use per~it as hereinafter <br />described; snd <br /> W~f~, the applicant, the Planning Director, and the City <br />Manager have done all things required to be done ~n connection with <br />said application, and the Planning Commission has recommended the <br />granting of said use petit. <br /> N0~, ~HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br /> Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> 1. That the use for which the use permit herein~er <br /> described is sought (a) will not adversely affect the health or safety <br /> of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the proposed use, <br /> (b) will not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to <br /> property or improvements in the neighborhood, and (c) will be in accord <br /> with the purposes of said Zoning Ordinance. <br /> 2. That the use permit hereinafter granted shall be subject <br /> to the following conditions: <br /> a. That the use of tile proper~y shall be restricted <br /> to the sale of new boats and pleasure craft, <br /> <br /> b. That display of boats for sale and storage of <br /> boats sold would be either ander cover of the <br /> roof of the btuil~d~r~ or in the wet slips of the <br /> <br />adjacent m~rina. <br /> <br /> <br />
