RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY-OF PORTSMOfJTPt, VIRGINIA, APPROVING THE REDEVELOP- MENT PLAN AS AMENDED BY AMENDMENT NO. Z FOR THE WEAVER PROJECT, NO. VA 1{-40. ~, WHEREAS, by resolution adopted September 7, 1965, and amended by resolution on April 12, 1966, the Council of the City of PortsmoUth approved a Redevelopment Plan for the Weaver Project, designated as Project, Va t{-40. '~rHEREAS, in accordance with Section F, page'I9 of said Plan, it so provides that said Redevelopment Plan may be amended by the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing~Authority with the consent of the City Council; and WHEREAS, the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority in undertaking the execution of Project No. Va R-40 has found it necessary to~ make minor changes to said Redevelopment Plan, as amended, by amendment No. 2. WHEREAS, the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority has approved the changes to the Redevelopment Plan by resolution which Plan dated March, 1967, together with said resolution, has been referred to City Council for review and approval and the City Council has duly considered said Redevelopment Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POt{TSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, as follows: 1. That said Redevelopment Plan, as amended, dated March, 1967, for the Project aforementioned, having been duly reviewed and considered, is hereby approved. . 2. That the City Clerk be and is hereby directed to file said copy of said Redevelopment Plan with the minutes of this meeting. Adopted by the Counci/ of the City of Portsmouth, held May 9th, 1967.
