A RESOLUTION GRANTI~ A USE PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION OF A WASTE PAPER <br />BAILING AND STORAGE BUSINESS AT 1400 COU~fY STREST, UP-68-18. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Public Service Oil and Coal Company, Inc. has filed <br /> <br />an application pursuant to Section 4-2 of the Zoning Ordinsmce of the <br />City of Portsmouth, 1961, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter <br />described; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant, the Plarming Director and the City <br />Manager have done all tb_imgs required to be done im connection with <br />said application, and the Planning Commission has reconmended the grant- <br />ing of said use permit, subject to the conditions hereinafter stated. <br /> <br /> NOW, ~RE, BE IT RESOL¥7~) by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia; <br /> <br /> A. ~at the use for which the use permit hereinafter <br /> described is sought (1) will not adversely affect <br /> the health or safety of persons residing or working <br /> in the neighborhood of the proposed use, (2) will <br /> not be detrimental to the public welfare or irjur- <br /> ious to property or fi_mprovements in the neighbor- <br /> hood, and (3) will be in accord v?~th the purpose <br /> of said Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br /> B.
