RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF [iH E CITY <br />OF PORTSMOUTH, ViRGiNIA, APPROVING THE <br />REDEVELOPMENT Pi~&N AS AMENDED BY <br />AMENDMENT NO. 1 , CRAWFORD URBAN RENEWAL <br />PROJECT NO. VA R - 53. <br /> <br /> WHEREAs, by resolution adopted August 9, 1967, the Council of <br />the Cl~y of'Portsmouth approved a Redevelopment Plan for the Cra~vford <br />Urban'Renewal Project, designated as Project VA R-53. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance ~vith Section F of the said Plan, it so <br />provides that said Redevelopment Plan may be amended by the Portsmouth <br />Redevelopment and Housing Authority with the consent of the City Council;and <br /> <br /> ~gHEREAS, the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority <br />· in undertaking the execution of Project No. VA R-53 has found it necessary <br /> to make minor changes to said Redevelopment Plan; and <br /> <br /> V;HEREAS, the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority <br />has approved the changes to the Redevelopment Plan by resolution which <br />Plan dated June, 1968, together with said resolution has been referred to <br />City Council for review and approval and the City Council has duly con- <br />sidered said Redevelopment Plan; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CCTJ NCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF PORTSMO~JTH, VI1KOINIA~ as follo~vs: <br /> <br /> 1. That said Redevelopment Plan, as amended, dated June, 1968, for <br />the Project aforementioned, having been duly reviewed and considered, is <br />hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2.
