RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXEC~JTION OF A CONTRACT TO PURCHASE PROPERTY <br />LOCATW~D IN THE VACINITY OF SOU~H ;C~D CRA~0RD STRESTS, FROM THE S~2A- <br />BOARD COAST LINE RAILROAD CO~'~ANY. <br /> <br /> Be it resol~,ed by the City Cou~ncil of the City of Port~mouth, <br />Virginia, in rego_lar meeting assembled that the City M~ager of said <br />City be, s_nd he hereby is, authorized to enter into a purchase-sale <br />agreement with the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company, and to sign <br />same on behalf of said City ~,fnereby said ~Railroad Company agrees to <br />sell and said City agrees to purchase certain propervy of said Rail- <br />road Company at Portsmouth~ Virginia; as more particularly set forth <br />in said agreement; which agreament is dated October 28, 1969~ a copy <br />of which agreement is file~ with this City Council. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virgir~a~ <br />at ~ meetin~ held October 28, 1969o <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
