A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PEP~,[[T FOR THE <br />OPERATION OF-AN AUTOMOTiWE sm/VICE STATION <br />AT 4312 WEST NORFOLK ROAD, UP-69-14. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Cobia Corooration has made an application pt~rsuant <br />to Section 4-2 of. the Zonir~ Ordinance of the City of Portsmouth, 1961, <br />for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter described; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant, the Planning Director and the City <br />Manager have done all things required to be done in connection with <br />said application, and the Planning Commission has recommended the grant- <br />ing of said use permit, subject to the conditions hereinafter stated. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Co[ancil of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />That the use for which the use permit hereinafter <br />described is sought (1) will not adversely affect <br />the health or safety of persons residing or work- <br />lng in the neighborhood of the proposed use, (2) <br />will not be detrLmental to the public welfare or <br />injurious to property or improvements in the <br />neighborhood, and (3) will be in accord with the <br />purposes of said Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />That Cobia Corporation is hereby granted a <br />use-permit, p~rsuant to Section 4-2 of said <br />Zoning Ordinance, for the reopeniDg and <br />operation of an existing automotive service <br />station located on the property known as 4312 <br />West Norfolk Road in the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held July 22, 1969. <br /> <br />Teste~ <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
