IT R~SOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Port sm~uth: <br /> <br /> Section .1: That the co~nstruction of a side~.~lk along the west <br />side of the 2400 block of Piedrnont Avenue~ Lots ~2 through 19 inclusive <br />of Block No. 37, where standard sidewall{s do not now exist, is hereby <br />authorized. <br /> <br /> Section 2: That the cost of constructing said sidewalk, when <br />the same shall have been ascez4sained shall be apportioned by the City <br />Assessor between the City of Portsmouth end the abutting ls~ndo~.~ers, <br />and assessed against said abutting l~ndom~:ers, as pro~_ded by law. <br /> <br /> Section 3: That the City Clerk shall forthwith cause to be <br />recorded an abstract of this resoiution~ together ~th. a statement show- <br />ing the o~nership and location of the property to be affected by the <br />proposed sidewalk and the estimated ~mount tb~at will be assessed agai~nst <br />each abutting l~ndo~¢~aer ~n accordance '~%th the statement thereof on file <br />in her office. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the CouNcil of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at <br />a meeting held July 8, 1969. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
