RESOMITION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OP PORTS¥iOUTH, VIR- GIN'IA, APPROVING Z~, REDF~ffl)P~ PLAIN AS A.W~[D~ BY AMF~VDY~@ NO. 2, CRA~,5~01mO URBAN F~[EWAL PROJECT [fO. VA. R-53. ~'~REAS, by resolution adopted August 9, 1967~ and amended by Amendment No. 1, dated Aug,.st 13, 1968, the Council of the City of Po_~s- mouth approved a Redevelopment Plan for the Crawford Urban Renewal Project desigaated as Projec~ VA R-53. ' ~PIiEgS, in accordance with Section F of the said Plan, it so provides that said Redevelopmen~ Plan may be amended by the Por~ssmouth development and Housing Authority with the consent of the City Council; and ~iIERF~AS, the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority in undertaking the execution of Project No. VA R-~3 has found it necessary to make minor changes to said Redevelopment Plan; and ~REAS, the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority has approved the chsmges to the Redevelopment Plan by resolution which Plmn dated February, 1969, together with said resolution has beenreferred to City Council for review and approval and the City Council has duly consider- ed said Redevelopment Plan; NOW, ~HEREPORE, BE IT RF£0LVED BY THE CITY CON.~CIL OF THE CITY 0F PORT~0UTH~ VIRGINIA, as follows: 1. That said Redevelopment Plan, as amended, dated February, 1969, for the Project aforementioned, having been duly reviewed and consider- ed is hereby approved. 2. ~nat the City Clerk be and is hereby directed to file said copy of said Redevel%Dment Plan with the minutes of this meeting.
