~ RESOLOT±ON IN COF~ERATION OF NATHAN E. MEYER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Nathan E. Meyer was genuinely concerned about <br />the developn~nt of the City of Portsmouth and believed in ex- <br />pressing his concern in action; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said Nathan E. Meyer ,had been active in <br />the ~ious affairs of this co~m~r~ty for many years; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, he had been a valuable and faitb/lul member of <br />the Portsmouth Tax Study Comnf~ssion. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT=RESOLVED by the Council of the <br /> City of Portsmouth, that th~ sympathy 0~ this body acting for <br /> the citizens of the City be and hereby is extended to the fam- <br /> ily of the late Nathan E. Meyer. <br /> <br />/ BE IT FURTHER ~ESOL~UED that a copy of tkis resolution~ <br />~be presented by the Mayor to the family of the deceased. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, at a meeting held December 9, 1969. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
