RESOLUTION APPOINTING ¥~WEES FOR THE CLOSING CErtAIN PORTIONS OF HOLLY AND SUNNYSIDE AVENN/F~ AND LC~k~RDY AND HARDING S~l'S. WHEREAS, May L. Galliford has made application to vacate and close the hereinafter described portions of certain streets shown on the plat of Sunnyside Farms and it 'appearing that notice of the applicatiofl snd request for the appointment of viewers was duly posted on January. 16, 1970, on the bulletin board of the Court of Hustings for the Ciby of Portsmouth, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of ?or~smouth, and on the bulletin board of the Municipal Court of the City of Portsmouth. NOW, ~RE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, L. A. Clark, Luther Tapp, James V. McGehee mud John E. Scott be appointed viewers to view t~he here- inafter described portions of certain streets[ and repor~ to this Council in writing whether in their opinion a~, and if any, v~nat inconvenience would result from vacating and closirg the following portions of the specified streets: 1. Holly Avenue, which said street lies between the southern right of way line of Harding Street (for- merly ~adison Street) and the southern right of way line of Southern Drive, as said streets are shown more particularly on the plat of Sunnyside Farms. Lombardy Street ~ lying between a line ~aich is 272 feet north of the northern right of way line of Broadway Street and the southern right of way line of Southern Drive, as shown on the plat of Sunnyside 3. Sur2~jside Avenue, as said street lies between a point 272 feet north of the northern right of tine of Broadway Street, and the southern right of w~v line of Southern Drive, as sho%~a on the said plat of Sur~uyside Far~z. ~. Harding Street (formerly ~tadison Street), lyirg between a line v~ich is 160 feet west of the western right of way line of Channel Avenue (formerly Fifth Avenue) anti-its western termi- no~ at the western right of way line of Holly Avenue.
