A .RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF RAILROAD AVE~JE BETWEEN DEEP CREEK BOULEVARD AND PORTS~,~OUTH BOULEVARD AND FOR THE CLOSING OF TWO UN- NAMED ALLEYS IN THE SAME GENEP~AL AREA. WI~EREAS, Angelina Eates, Louis J. Eates, Frank P. Eates and Norfolk and Portsmouth Belt Line Railroad Company have made application to vacate and close the hereinafter described portions of a certain street and two unnamed alleys and it appearing that 'notice of the application and request for appointment of viewers was duly posted on September 30, 1970 on the bulletin board of the~Court of Hustings for the City of Portsmouth, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, and on the bulletin board of the Municipal Court Civil Division of the City of Portsmouth~ ' NOW, THEREFOP~, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, that Frank N. Bilisoly, L. A. Clark, Luther Tapp, James Choate and Loyed W. Gardner be appoint- ed viewers to view the hereinafter described portions of a ~street and twe unnamed alleys and report to this Council in writing whe- ther in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result from vacating and closing the following: 1'. Railroad Avenue lying between Portsmouth Boulevard on the South and Deep Creek Boulevard on the North. 2. A certain 10 foot allel~?-ay which runs generally ~n an East-West direction through Block 7, as shown on the plat of Piedmont Heights, recorded in Map Book 4, pag~ 52, in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Chesapeake, Virginia, which alley-_ way to be closed is more particularly described as bounded on the West by the easuern right of way line.of Railroad Avenue and on the East by a prolongation to-the South of the eastern property line of Lots 30 and 3I in said Block 7 as sho~.~n on ~he plat afore- said. 3. A certain 10 foot alley, which runs generally in a North-South direction, through Block 7, as sho~ on said plat of Piedmont Heights, which alleyway to be closed is more particularly described as bounded on the North by the southern right of way line of Deep Creek Boulevard and on the South by a pro!on~ation to the West of the southern property line of Lot 9 in said Block 7, as shown on the p%at aforesaid.
