A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING OF <br />PORTIONS OF CUTOFF AVENUE, JACKSON AVENUE AND <br />LAIGH ROAD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ Washington Heights Properties Corporation has' <br />made application to vacate and close the hereinafter described <br />portions of certain streets and it appearing that notic~ of the <br />application and request for the appointment of viewers was duly <br />posted on December 16, 1970 on the bulletin board of the Court of <br />Hustings for the City of Portsmouth, on the bulletin board of the <br />Circuit Court of the City of portsmouth, and on the bulletin board <br />of the Municipal Court, Civil Division of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, Luther Tapp, <br />James Choate, Joseph Kiss and Zalmon I. Blachman be appointed <br />viewers to view the hereinafter described portions of streets <br />and report to this Council in writing whether in their opinion <br />any, and if any, what inconvenience would result from vacating <br />and closing the following: <br /> <br /> 1. Cutoff Avenue as it lies North of Greenwood <br /> Boulevard and South of the northern right of <br /> way line of Jackson Avenue. <br /> <br />2. Jackson Avenue as it lies West of the east- <br />ern right of way line of Laigh Road and East of <br />the western right of way line of Cutoff Avenue. <br /> <br /> 3. Laigh Road as it lies North of the northern <br /> right of way line of Jackson Avenue and South <br /> of the southern right of way li~e of U. S.
