A RESOLUTION DECLARING A PORTION OF THE PROPOSED WESTERN FREEWAY <br />TO BE LIMITED ACCESS. <br /> <br /> WI{EREAS, the State Highway Department has undertaken <br />Project 0164-124-102, RW-201 for the construction of the Western <br />Freeway; and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to fully complete such project, the <br />State Highway Department must acquire certain property from Paul <br />p. Merritt, Jr.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ in order to include such property within the <br />right of way of the proposed Western Freeway, it will be neces- <br />sary that this Council declare this portion of right of way to <br />be limited access; and <br /> WHEP~AS, this portion of property is as shown on a <br /> certain State Highway Plat entitled Plan No. A, Roll No. 12189, <br /> Sheets 8 and 9 for Project 0164-124-102, RW-201. <br /> NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br /> City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that that portion of the riqht of <br /> way to be here~inafter acquired from Paul P. Merritt, Jr., and as <br /> shown on the above-referenced plat be, and the same hereby is de- <br /> clared limited access. <br /> Adopted at a meeting of the Council of the City of Ports- <br /> mouth, Virginia, held April 11, 1972. <br /> <br />Tes te: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
