t? <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A <br />PORTION OF MEANDER ROAD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, George T. McLean Company, Incorporated has <br />made application to vacate and close the hereinafter described <br />portion of a certain street and it appearing that notice of <br />the application and request for the appointment of viewers <br />was duly posted on March 31, 1972 on the bulletin board of the <br />Court of Hustings for the City of Portsmouth, on the bulletin <br />board of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, and on <br />the bulletin board of the Municipal Court, Civil Division, of <br />the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IS RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, Louis J. <br />Leitner, L. A. Clarkr Zalmon I. Blacb~an and F. J. Bergeron, be <br />appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion of <br />such street and report to this Council in writing whether in <br />their opinion, any, and if any, what inconvenience would re- <br />sult from vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br /> That portion of Meander Road situate in the <br /> City of Portsmouth, Virginia, more particularly <br /> described as follows, to-wit: BEGINNING at a <br /> point on the Western right-of-way line of Meander <br /> Road (formerly Old Western Branch Road) at the <br /> point of intersection of said road with the <br /> Northern property line of Joshua Swain and Company, <br /> Incorporated, and the Southern property line of <br /> George T. McLean Company, Incorporated; thence from <br /> said point of beginning running South 88° 08' East, <br /> crossing said Meander Road to the Eastern right-of- <br /> way line; thence running Northwesterly along the <br /> Eastern right-of-way line of said Meander Road to <br /> its point of intersection with the Eastern right- <br /> of-way line of the Norfolk-Portsmouth Belt Line <br /> Railway; thence running South along said Railway <br /> right-of-way to the intersection of said Railway <br /> right-of-way and the Western right-of-way of said <br /> Meander Road; thence running Southeasterly along <br /> the Western right-of-way of Meander Road to the <br /> point of beginning. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held April 11, 1972. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
