A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY M~AGER TO ENTER INTO JOINT <br />PROJECTS WITH OTHER POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS WHEN SAID PROJECTS <br />ARE COMPLETELY FUNDED BY STATE AND/OR FEDERAL FUNDS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, certain political subdivisions may be requested <br />to submit applications for joint grants, which said grant appli- <br />cations would require joint approval by adjoining political sub- <br />divisions; and <br /> <br /> WtIEREAS, the Southeastern Virginia Regional Planning <br />District Commission can not implement such grants without joint <br />approval by the several political subdivisions involved; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, these grant applications would provide services <br />for all involved political jurisdictions. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia that the City Manager be and he <br />hereby is authorized to enter into joint projects with other <br />political subdivisions when said projects are completely funded <br />by sta~e and/or federal funds. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, at a meeting held December 5, 1972. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
