A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CiTY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREE- <br />MENT WITH THE SEABOARD COAST LiNE RAILROAD CO~4PANY AND JEAN M. <br />DAVIS, AND A SEParATE AGREEMENT WITH THE SEABOARD COAST LINE <br />RAILROAD COMPANY FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF A STREET CROSSING WHERE <br />McLEAN STREET INTERSECTS AND CROSSES SAID RAILROAD. <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, it is necessary to provide and maintain a street <br />crossing over the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company tracks at <br />a location as sho%~ on a plat attached hereto; and <br /> ~EREAS, Jean M. Davis, by agreement has agreed to con- <br />struct said crossing; and <br /> ?~EREAS, it is necessary to enter into agreements with <br />both the aforesaid parties in order to insure future maintenance <br />of said street crossing. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the form of the two agree- <br />ments attached hereto which provide for the construction and <br />future maintenance of a street crossing as particularly described <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager and the City <br /> Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agree- <br /> ments in the name and on behalf of the City. <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br /> ginia, at a meeting held May 8, 1973. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
