Bilisoly; Louis of such street and report to this Cou~cit in writing whether in their opinion, any, and if any, what inconvenience would result from vacating and closing, the following: "Alt that certain pieceor parcel of land lying and being in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia and ' more particularly described according to that cer- tain plat entitled, "Map of West Norfolkaccording to Grimes and Hargrove's Suryey".of record in the Office of the Clerk of the~Circuit Court Of the City of Chesapeake, Virginia~ in Map Book 10, page 43. BEGINNING at a point in the north line of West Norfolk Road (formerly Virginia Avenue), said point being 51.17 feet northwest of the northwest corner of the intersection of West Norfolk Road and Progress Avenue (formerly Third Avenue), runs thence in a northeasterly direction in a line parallel with the south line of Chemical Way (formerly Jefferson Street)~ 35.70 feet to a point in the west line of Pro- gress Avenue; runs thence in a northwesterly direction along the west line of~Pro~ress Avenue 20 feet to a point, runs thence in a southwesterly direction in a lineparallel with the south line of Chemical Way 55.18 feet to a point in the north line of West Norfolk Road, runs thence in a southeasterly direction along the north line of West Norfolk Road 27.92 feet to a point, the POINT AND PLACE OF BEGINNING."
