63 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIE~RS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF LOUISA AVE- <br />NUE BETWEEN COUNTY STREET AND THE RIGHT OF WAY OF SEABOARD COAST- <br />LINE RAILROAD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Charles A. and Judith A. Langreder have made <br />application to vacate and close the hereinafter described portion <br />of a certain street and it appearmng that notice of the application <br />and request for the appointment of viewers was duly posted on the <br />bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, and <br />in two other public places in said City, at least 10 days prior to <br />August 13, 1974. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, James V. McGehee, <br />Belvin W. Blachman, Herbert L. Willard and James Choate, be appoint- <br />ed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion of such street <br />and report to this council in writing whether in their opinion, any, <br />and if any, what inconvenience would result from vacating and clos- <br />ing the following: <br /> All that certain lot or parcel of land situ- <br /> ate in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, and <br /> described as follows: <br /> Beginning at a point in the northern line of <br /> County Street at the southwest corner of Lot No. <br /> 24 in Block 141 as shown on the plat of Living- <br /> ston Land Company of record in the office of <br /> the Clerk of the Circuit Court of the City of <br /> Chesapeake, Virginia, in Map Book 5, at Page <br /> 43; thence in a northerly direction along the <br /> western line of said Lot 24 and continuing along <br /> the western line of Lot 23 in said Block 141 a <br /> distance of 130 feet, more or less, to the east- <br /> erly line of the right of way of Seaboard Coast- <br /> line Ra!!roa , thence in a southwesterly direction <br /> along the line of said right of way a distance of <br /> 75 feet, more or less, to the eastern line of Lot <br /> No. 2, in Block 140 on the above plat; thence in <br /> a southerly direction along the line of said Lot <br /> 2 a distance of 80 feet, more or less, to the <br /> northern line of County Street; thence in an <br /> easterly direction along the line of County <br /> Street 60 feet to the point of beginning- The <br /> above property is that portion of Louisa Ave- <br /> nue which lies between County Street and the <br /> right of way of Seaboard COastline Railroad. <br /> <br /> <br />
