A RESOLUTION I~OVtNG THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED CITY COUNCIL I!EETiNG <br />FROM AUGUST 26, 1975 TO AUGUST 19, 1975 AND MOVING THE REGULARLY <br />SCHEDULED CITY COUNCIL MEETING FROM SEPT~BER 23, 1975 TO SEPTEM- <br />BER 16, 1975. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the local Goverp~ent officers are holding <br />their annual meeting on August 25 and 26, 1975 in Charlottes- <br />ville, Virginia; and <br /> <br /> WHERE%S, the Virginia Municipal League is holding its <br />annual meeting during the week of September 21 27, 1975; and <br /> <br /> W~REAS, members of Council and City Government will <br />attend such meetings. <br /> <br /> T}!EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the regularly scheduled City Council <br />meeting scheduled for August 26, 1975, will be moved to August 19, <br />1975. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the regularly scheduled City <br />Council meeting of September 23, 1975 will be moved to Septe.nfoer <br />16, 1975. <br /> <br /> This resolution shall take effect from the time of its <br />adoption. <br /> <br /> Adopted at a meeting of the Council of t. he City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, held August 12, 1975. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
