3O A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ViEWEt{S FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF GREEN STREET, GEORGE WASHINGTON HIGHWAY AND EFFINGHA~4 STREET. WHEREAS~ Department of Navy, United States of America and the City of Portsmouth, have made application to vacate and close the hereinafter described portions of certain streets and it appearing that the notice of the applications and the request for the appointment of viewers was duly posted March 12, 1976, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, the bulletin board of the Counci~ Chambers of the City of Portsmouth, and the bulletin board of the General District Court, civil Division, of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL%~D by the council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Robert Reed, Frank N. Bilisoly, Harrison Miller, Charles R. Hudgins and R. Irvine Smith be appointed as viewers to view the herein- after described portions of such streets and to report to this Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result in vacating and closing the following: Beginning at the iron pin at the north- east corner of State Highway Route 141 and Effingham Street, said point being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence in a northeasterly direction along the north side of State ~igh- way Route 141 N 66024'52'' E, 346.85 feet to a point; thence on a curve to the left having a radius of 43.0 feet, a central angle of 73°~ 14'25" and an arc distance of 54.95 feet to a point in the western right of way line of Green Street, said point being marked by a chiseled cross; thence along the west side of said Green Street N 06049'33'' W, 466.25 feet to a point situate at the southwest corner of Green Street and Portsmouth Boulevard; thence along the south side of said Portsmouth Boule- vard N 69038'43'' E, 98.35 feet to a point situate at the intersection of the south right- of-way line of said Portsmouth Boulevard and the westerly boundary of lands owned by the United States Naval Sh!pyard, Portsmouuh~ V1. ginia; thence along said westerly boundary os lands o%~ned by the United States Naval Shipyard S O3°28'O1" 562.0 feet to a point situate at the southeast corner of Green Street and State Hig~ay Route 141; thence along the south side
