<br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ¥~.'WERS FOR CLOSIk~ THE FOLLOWING STREETS:

<br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority has
<br />made applicat/on to vacate, close and discontinue Parcels I, II,
<br />III, IV, V and VI, the hereinafter described portions of certain
<br />streets, and it appearing that Notice of Application and request
<br />for the Appointment of Viewers was duly posted July 8, 1977 on the
<br />bulletin board of the City Hall Building of the City of Portsmouth,
<br />the bulletin board of the General District Court, Civil Division,
<br />of the City of Portsmouth and the bulletin board of the Circuit
<br />Court of the City of Portsmouth.

<br /> NOW, ~{EREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
<br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, Harrison Miller, A. N.
<br />Kendrick, Linon Vann, and C. E. Ellis be appointed viewers and Louis
<br />J. Leitner be appointed ~n alternate viewer in the event one of
<br />preceding viewers fails to participate, said viewers to view the here-
<br />inafter described portions of such streets and to report to this
<br />council in writing whether in their opinion any, and if any, what
<br />inconvenience would result in vacating and closing the following:

<br /> All that certain piece or parcel of land situate
<br />in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, c~L~rising that
<br />portion of Harrison Street as shown cna plat entitled,
<br />"Plat Showing Closure Of A Portion Of Harrison Street,
<br />Portsmouth, Virginia For Southside I! Project, CD 77",
<br />dated June 2, 1977, prepared by Hassell & Folkes, a
<br />copy of which is attached hereto. (S-77-16)
