A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PIIJi~G OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMIN- <br />ISTRATION APPLICATION FOR FUNDING THE SOORIqSIDE II INDUSTRIAL PARK <br />Pt~OECT; APPROVING CERTAIN ASSURANCES THEREIN; AND AUTHORIZING THE Ck'±'~ <br />MANAGER TO SIGN THE APPLICATION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has been invited by the Econcx~ic <br />Development Administration to s~0mit an application for funding the <br />Southside II Industrial Park; and <br /> <br /> ~, said application contains certain assurances ~aich the <br />City is required to make to the Econcmic Development Administration in <br />regards to employment practices, building regulations and authority to <br />apply for said grent; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to designate an official representative of <br />the City to be authorized to make such application and to provide such <br />-additional information as may frc~ time to ti~ be necessary. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City ol <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that the application to the Economic Development <br />Administration for fending of the Southside II Industrial Park Project <br />be, and the same hereJyy is, authorized for filing; that the assurances <br />contained therein be, and the same hereby are, approved; that the City <br />Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to sign the applicationl <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virg/~nia, at a <br />meeting held April 12, 1977. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
