110 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING THE FOLLOWING <br />STREETS: PARCEL I, A PORTION OF PARTRIDGE STREET AND PARCEL <br />II, A PORTION OF REID STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has made application to <br />vacate, close and discontinue Parcels I and II, the herein- <br />after described portions of certain streets, and it appear- <br />ing that Notice of Application and request for the appointment <br />~of viewers was duly posted October 20, 1977 on the bulletin <br />board of the City Hall Building of the City of Portsmouth, the <br />bulletin board of the General District Court, Civil Division, <br />of the City of Portsmouth and the bulletin board of the Circuit <br />Court of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouthr Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, Simond P. <br />Arrington, H. L. Davis, Belvin Btachman, Zalmon Btachman be <br />appointed viewers and Louis J. Leitner be appointed the alter- <br />nate viewer in the event one of the preceding viewers fails to <br />participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter described <br />portions of such streets and to report to the Council in writing <br />whether in their opin!on any, and if any, what inconvenience <br />would result in vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br />Parcel I - Partridge Street <br /> <br /> Ail that certain piece or parcel of land, lying <br />and being in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, and <br />comprising that portion of Partridge Street lying <br />between the east right-of-way of Nicholson Street <br />and the east right-of-way line of Reid Street <br />(S-77-27). <br /> <br />Parcel II Reid Street <br /> <br /> Ail that certain piece or parcel of land, lying <br />and being in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, and <br />comprising that portion of Reid Street beginning at <br />the northwest corner of Reid and Partridge Streets; <br />thence north along the west right-of-way line of <br />Reid Street 30'; thence East 40' to the east right- <br />of-way line of Reid Street; thenc~ south along said <br />right-of-way 30' to the north right-of'way line of <br />Partridge Street; thence west 40' to the point of <br />origin (S-77-28). <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held November 8, 1977. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
