lO1 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A~USE PERMIT TO OPERATE A SEWAGE P%~ING STATION ON CERTAIN PROPERTY SITUATE IN OR NEAR ~lqE ]i~T~RSECTIf>N OF AVgNDALF. ROAD WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth by D~rector of thfotic Utilities, John A. Howell, Jr., has made application pursuant to Section 40-75 (b) -of the Code o~f the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, for the granting of a use penmit as hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director Dave done all things required to be done in connection with the application, and the Planning Commission has recc~nded the granting of said use permit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Ports- mouth, Virginia: (a) That the use for which the use permit hereinafter described .is sought; (1) Will not adversely affect the health or safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the proposed use; (2) Will not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to property or i~prov=ar~nts in the neighborhood; and (3) will be in accord with the purposes of the Zoning Chapter of the City Code. ~o) The Council of the City of Portsmouth is her~0y granting a use pezmit pursuant to Sec~ion 40-75(b) of the City Code to operate a sewage pumloing station on the property described as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of the inter- section of Avondale Road and Bunche Boulevard; thence north along the east right-of-way line of B~m. che Boule- vard, 130.O3 feet; thence east 65.09 feet; ~h~nee south 130 feet to the north right-of-way line of Avondale Road; finance west along said right-of-way 67.85 feet to the east right-of-way line of Bunche Boulevard, the Point of Origin.
